If the resistance is not working when you increase or decrease the resistance level on the console this could be down to:
- A program not running
- Loose connection
- Console fault
- Motor fault
In the first instance start a manual workout and once the time counter is counting upwards. Once the workout has started turn the dial clockwise until you reach maximum resistance. Please note it can take up to 20 seconds for the resistance to reach the maximum level. If after 30 seconds there is no change in resistance then power down the bike and unplug it from the mains.
Next, take the console off and unplug the thick cable that goes into the back. Please check that the pins are all straight (if you see a bent pin just gently bend it back to the straight position) and then firmly re-connect the cable. Please test the resistance by switching the bike back on and repeating the first step.
