If there is no power to the console when you plug the power in, then in most cases this is caused by the cable that plugs into the back of the computer not being properly inserted into its connection point or by a bent pin on that connection.
Please unplug the cable that plugs into the back of the computer and check that none of the pins are bent. If a pin is bent then gently push the pin back into a straight position. Once the pins have been checked re-connect the cable and firmly push it into position.
This will almost certainly rectify the problem but in the unlikely event that it does not please check that the power cable from the 9v adaptor is securely plugged into the socket on the rear of the elliptical and not the back of the computer console.
